a) On plantation schemes, the first phase of subsidy may be released on completion of required infrastructure and plantation. The subsidy will be released at the rate of 20% of the actual expenses on infrastructure.
b) The second phase of the subsidy will be released at the end of the second year of plantation and on receipt of report from K.S.K. about 70% survival of the plant. No subsidy on plantation costs will be paid if the survival is less than 70%. In case of survival above 70%, the subsidy will be paid on the plantation costs proportionate to the rate of survival.
c) Banana, Papaya and Pineapple will be treated as plantation crops.
d) For horticultural plantation crops other than Banana, Papaya and Pineapple the minimum eligible area should be four hectares. For banana, Papaya and Pineapple, the minimum area will be two hectares. No project proposal less than the area of plantation stipulated shall be entitled under subsidy scheme. This stipulation will, however, not apply to composite projects.

Subsidy will not be admissible on transport van or insulated van.

Boat mounted pumps will be entitled for subsidy where the cost of the boat should not exceed Rs. 10,00/-

No subsidy will be admissible on L.I. Project, on Ponds / tanks and wells.

Subsidy will be provided to the farmers or executant as chosen by the farmer for irrigation projects. D.A.O. will specify whether the subsidy will be paid to the executants or the beneficiary.

Project proposal received at K. S. K. will be handled by the respective line Departments i.e. plantation by Horticulturist and Fishery by Sub-Divisional Fishery officer etc. The line department members of the K.S.K will be responsible for supervision, preparation and appraisal of the project. However, it should be forwarded to the Bank through the K. S. K.

The line department member official of the K. S. Ks will take appropriate steps for clearing projects relating to his department even if it is not within his jurisdictation. I will be the responsibility of the line officer to forward it to the concerned officer and take follow up action in the matter.

On L. I. Project with the provision of in take-well the cost estimates for intake will not exceed Rs. 5,000/-

Krushak Bandhu Pump(IDB) either functioning alone or with suction and delivery pipes fitted to shallow tube well will yet subsidy under I.C.D.P. Rice scheme limited to 50% or Rs. 1,500/- whichever is less. This will not be booked under Agriculture Policy.

a) For pisciculture project, the minimum water area should be two hectares.
b) However for composite projects, this restriction will not be applicable.

Projects not eligible under IPR, 1996 will also not be entitled for subsidy under agriculture Policy.

For any composite project proposal showing net profit of less than Rs. 1,00 lakh per annum will not be entertained by the K. S.K. for Capital Investment Subsidy.

Bakery will be accepted as a project in accordance with the scheme of Government of India, Ministry of food Processing. The Managing Director, APICOL will provide necessary guidelines for this.
