Sub :- Special Drive on Self-Employment for un-employed youth during 10th Five Year Plan-Clarification regarding Technically qualified entrepreneur.
Sir,
With reference to your letter No. 59/APICAOL, dated 06.01.2003, I am to say that for the purpose of grant of additional 10% subsidy (over and above the capital investment subsidy @ 20% of capital cost under APR) on the capital cost of the projects taken up under the 10th Five Year Plan Scheme Self-Employment to Unemployed Youth” viz. (i) Agro Service Centres (ii) Commercial Agri Enterprises, a person will be deemed to be “ a technically qualified entrepreneur” if such a person has :
a) A recognized Diploma / Degree in Engineering including Agricultural engineering,
Or
b) A recognized Degree in Agriculture or allied subjects such as Forestry, Fishery and Animal Husbandry.
2. All concerned may be informed accordingly.
